My First Mother’s Day

I’m not sure where to start with this post, I think I was actually expecting more than what it was. I was expecting to feel special and the most important person that day, but that was far from what I was feeling. That’s not to say I didn’t have a nice day, I guess I was just a little disappointed.

World Down Syndrome Day: My Story

This post has been a blank page on my laptop for quite a while now, I have thought about writing this post many times, even what would I write in this post or what wouldn’t I write. Every time I think about sitting down and writing this up I can’t help but come to tears, it’s a very emotional subject for me to talk about. I’m not here to tell you everything you need to know, I’m only 4 months in and I’m just taking it day by day. I have figured that I don’t really know enough to be educating anyone on Down syndrome so I’m just going to document my story and my feelings.

blog titleSo keep reading if you’re at all interested in reading about my story.
