Here we are again, I was hoping to have posted another post earlier in the week but no such luck. I thought being on maternity leave I’d have loads of time to get things done, oh was I wrong. So here I am, two minutes to myself writing this up.
This evening I have for you a review of ‘Probably The Best Kiss In The World’ by Pernille Hughes
Jen Attison likes her life Just So. But being fished out of a canal in Copenhagen by her knickers is definitely NOT on her to do list. From cinnamon swirls to a spontaneous night of laughter and fireworks, Jen’s city break with the girls takes a turn for the unexpected because of her gorgeous, mystery rescuer.
Back home, Jen faces a choice. A surprise proposal from her boyfriend, ‘boring’ Robert has offered Jen the safety net she always thought she wanted. But with the memories of her Danish adventure proving hard to forget, maybe it’s time for Jen to stop listening to her head and start following her heart…
I love this cover. These kind of covers always make me want to pick up a book and read what it’s about.
Who doesn’t love a good RomCom. We all love a happy ending don’t we. This is a stand alone book so you can just pick it up and get right to reading. It’s a lighthearted and easy read. Perfect for a lazy summers day.
Jen is currently living the safe, reliable life she thought she wanted. She has a boyfriend who is soon to propose, a steady job and a passion for brewing beer. Jen doesn’t know it yet but she wants more from life and a chance encounter with a handsome danish man while on holiday with her sister shows her just what her life is missing.
I don’t quite agree with how things panned out, I do think that if you’re not happy in a relationship then you shouldn’t be in it. But having said that I do think this book is very well written and the characters are such fun and very likeable.
Pernille has written these characters perfectly, I do hope she writes a follow up to this book, maybe an insight into some of the other characters. I really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it to other.

Now, she lives in actual Buckinghamshire, sharing a photocopier with her husband and their four spawn. While the kids are at school she scoffs cake and writes RomCom stories in order to maintain a shred of sanity.
