I should have written this post last year after I had finished the book but having a baby, Christmas and the rest kind of took over and I’m lucky if I can one post up a week at the moment (although I’m working on that).
Anyway here we are, finally writing things up, and today we have for you my thoughts on Jenny’s (from JennyInNeverland) e-book. She has written a book on a beginners guide to blogging. You can grab yourself a copy here for £5.99.
Jenny has a lot of good posts over on her blog with tips and tricks for bloggers new and experienced, she has incorporated all her knowledge into this handy guide.
From growing your following, basic SEO techniques and setting blogging goals, this Beginners Guide to Blogging covers everything you’ll need to know as new or beginner blogger to get you started and on your way to blogging success. With new bloggers in mind, this comprehensive 80 page guide will incorporate all the information I’ve learnt and have found has worked for me over the last 6 years in a friendly manner with no complicated jargon.
I have uploaded 3 different formats for you to download, Mobi, PDF and a Word Doc so to give you different options depending on what programme you’re using to read. Please note that the formatting might be slightly different on each one but all the information is exactly the same!
I love the cover, it’s just very simple and I like it when theres nothing too fussy and the book just speaks for itself.
WHAT I LIKED
Pretty much everything about this book. Jenny has done a fabulous job writing down her blogging knowledge. My favourite kind of blog posts are tips and tricks and Jenny has years of blogging experience behind her. Jenny has added sections on blog post ideas, social media and even how you can start to earn from your blog if that’s the route you want to take.
One day I intend to print out a copy so that I can read through it again and write notes down of what works for me, what doesn’t, what I need to try etc. I really hope Jenny writes more books and I will certainly be trolling her blog some more for some of her posts on the same subjects.
I also think she has priced the book fairly as well, she could have easily put a higher price tag onto it but £5.99 is a good deal if you ask me.
WHAT I DISLIKED
There’s not really anything I disliked at all. I could have read many more pages and made so many more notes on what I need to try.
