My Skincare Routine

I’ve never really had much of a skincare routine, If I took my make up off at the end of the day that was a good thing, but recently I’ve been doing a lot more to try and keep my skin better looked after. I have got myself into a little routine which seems to be working, granted I’ve only really been using this routine for a couple of weeks but so far so good.

img_1656Twice a day I use The Body Shop Seaweed Oil Balancing Toner to get all the dirt and grime off my face – I very rarely wear any make up so this just gets rid of the natural dirt which my skin acquires throughout the day. It’s really kind to your skin, it’s not too harsh but it really does pick up any excess on your skin. It’s a little bit gross really to see how much dirt rests on your skin just from going about your day.

I then spritz my face with the Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist, and if I’m honest I don’t really know if this is doing anything for my skin as I just spray it on and let it dry then carry on with the rest of my routine. 

I am loving the Pixi Rose Oil though, I use this twice a day as the last step, I put a small amount on each cheek and one my forehead and rub it in all over my face and neck. I find that it leaves my skin lovely and soft. It’s not overly oily and sinks into my skin fairly quickly. Using this morning and night seems to be doing to trick as my face rarely has any breakouts. I would love to try some of the other oils in the collection but so far the Rose Oil is definitely doing some good for my skin.

img_1658Lastly 2-3 times a week I use The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask. I have been eyeing this up ever since it came out and a couple of weeks back I decided to take the plunge and give it a go, and I am so glad I did. I love it already. I find it makes my skin really smooth and brightens it up.

I also use vaseline daily on the skin around my eyes as I developed quite dry skin while pregnant and it hasn’t really gone away. Make up will irritate it and vaseline is the only thing what will calm It back down but a couple hours of make up will take a week to go back down. If anyone has any suggestions for anything I can try I’m all ears.

There are so many other products I’d like to try out but so far these are working really well for me. Have you used any of these? I’d love to know what you think of them.
